Abstract :
Revinery Unit IV Cilacap is an oil refinery processing unit owned by PT. Pertamina. PT. Pertamina Refinery Unit IV Cilacap operates power plants with eight generators to fulfill electrical power in support of production activities. Four of the generator capacity is 24 MW and four other generators capacity 80 MW. Disturbances in the electric power system often occur are short-circuited. In the refinery area of PT. Pertamina Refinery Unit IV Cilacap There is often a short-circuited disorder in its substasion substasion, where the disturbance is caused by internal factors and external factor. If not resolved immediately can cause a trip or a power outage. In this thesis use quantitative descriptive method with software to find the biggest short circuit current in order to be able to see the circuiting rating. After conducting the simulation and calculation gained the largest short circuit is 5,437 kA at Busbar 13.8 KV, 14,231 kA in Busbar 3.45 KV and 34.927 kA at Busbar 0.4 KV. From the results of analysis and simulation using software. It is obtained that the Circuit Breaker rating of 65 kA can still withstand the flow of interference.
