Abstract :
Solar Power Plant can convert sunlight intensity into electrical energy. The potential for the use of solar power plants as a source of renewable energy in Indonesia has not been fully utilized. The average solar radiation potential for the Rancanumpang, Bandung is 4,64 kWh / m2. To reduce the cost of using electricity needs from PLN on chicken farms, the opportunity to plan the Solar Power Plant On Grid development is quite good. There are several things that need to be considered in planning this Solar Power Plant, namely the selection of components, installation locations and economic factors. In this planning using calculations and comparing with the results of the PVsyst simulation. The components used are monocrystalline type solar modules with a capacity of 440 Wp, totaling 6 solar panels installed series in 2 strings, in each string there are 3 solar panels, using 1 inverter with a capacity of 2.5 kW. Based on the results of planning calculations, the power generated from Solar Power Plant to meet the electricity needs of chicken farms in one year is 3883,6 kWh / year and the performance ratio is 86%. Meanwhile, from the simulation data using Pvsyst, the power generated in one year is 3396 kWh / year with a performance ratio of 74.9%. For the initial investment cost, Rp. 31.922.500 with return period of 6 years.
