Abstract :
In electric power systems, energy losses are a measure of whether or not an electric power distribution system operates. The Losses is an energy loss due to technical and non technical problems in the distribution of electrical energy. Electric energy losses can be found in various places on the power grid, one of which is the shrinkage of electrical energy that occured in the medium voltage network. It is certainly disadvantageous for the company, in this case is PLN. This thesis discusses the loss of energy (losses) due to technical factors on the feeder of KSM1 in substasion with sf6 insulation Kiaracondong in 2019, where the energy losses that occured for 577.224,00 kWh, and discuss the improvements made to repress the energy losses in KSM1 feeder. There are two scenarios; 1.) reducing the stream for the first scenario and 2.) lowering the resistance price for the second scenario, from the first scenario can decrease the losses by 53% while for the second scenario can decrease the losses that occured by 43 %. The author also evaluates the cost of loss due to energy losses, before and after the repair. Where prior to the repair of losses experienced by Rp. 476.906.421,62, after the scenario 1 the losses experienced by Rp.230.741.155,1 and after the scenario 2 the losses experienced amounted to Rp.255.608.387,26
