Abstract :
In power system distribution, sometimes there is unavoidable interference like short circuit. At Renda feeder in Bintaro substantion, there are two CBO cubicles which is located in 30% and 50% (middle point) of the total system. The cubicle location is still too far away to protect the system when the faults occur at the end of the system. Therefore, the location of CBO cubicle should be moved to make the protection system more reliable and narrowing the are of disturbance so as not to spread widely. Before the cubicles being moved, the tripping time value of OCR and GFR at CP3 CBO cubicle is 0.748 seconds and 0.643 seconds. While at BT302 CBO cubicle is 0.348 seconds and 0.314 seconds. After the CBO cubicle being moved at CD121 substantion and BT117 subtantion, the tripping time value of OCR and GFR in CD121 substansion becomes 0.716 seconds and 0.628 seconds while at BT117 the tripping time is 0.311 second and 0.302 secind. it proves that the tripping time of relay after moved with short circuit calculation in 100% system length, faster than before moved and will decrease the total of black out substantion.
