Abstract :
Transformer ia a device that has very important role in distributing electricity to costumers. Therefore it needs more attention to the life of the transformer. Loading is one that affects the life of a transformer because it produces heat which results in aging of the transformer. The greatest value of load makes the hot spot temperature increases, it causes the age losses also increases. In this research discusses two 20 KV distribution transformers in the MK88 substation and the MK57AS substation. In the transformer at MK88 substation with 80% loading, resulting 64% age losses per day with an estimate remaining life is 19,27% years. Whereas the transformer at MK57AS substation with a loading over 100% produces 225,5% age losses per day with an estimate remaining life is 2,51 years.
