Abstract :
Electrical energy is one of the most important needs at this time. There is increase in the need for electrical energy supply each year but fossil fuel reserves are also running low. Supported by circular letter of Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Indonesia number : 363/22 / MEM.L / 2019 dated September 11, 2019 concerning an appeal for the installation of a Rooftop Solar Power Generating System (PLTS rooftop) for offices in government agencies, if applied will have an impact on reducing the use of conventional electricity. One of alternative energy that is environmentally friendly and the easiest to use and obtain is the Solar Power Generating System (PLTS). In this study discusses about design of PLTS systems in the Takalar District Police Office Building using technical and economic analysis methods. The PLTS designed system to supply 35% of the building's average daily energy use of 504,853 kWh. In the design requires 92 solar panels Longi LR4-72HPH-450M 450Wp, 2 units of SUN2000-20KTL-M0 Inverters with a capacity of 20 kW and 1 unit AC Combiner Box that contains protection equipment to support this PLTS system. The initial investment cost for this PLTS system is Rp. 288,768,219.00. Investment feasibility analysis shows the NPV value of Rp. 2,531,924.92, the IRR value was 9.9% and the BCR value was 1,009. NPV, IRR and BCR values indicate a positive value, the investment for this PLTS system project is feasible. The Pay Back Period occurs in the 9th year in the life of the project.
