Abstract :
PT. PLN (Persero) GI Sayung is a branch of PT. PLN (Persero) UP2D Central Java & DIY. To maintain the continuity of the distribution of electrical energy to the SYG10 feeder, it is necessary to minimize disturbance to the feeder. One of the problems in the SYG10 feeder at PT.PLN (Persero) GI Sayung is a 3-phase short circuit and a phase to the ground. It takes overcurrent relay (OCR) and ground disturbance relay (GFR) settings which are in accordance with the protection criteria to minimize the disturbance area. The method used is to perform manual calculations of short circuit fault currents in 3 phases, 1 phase and relay working time in 3 zones, where zone 1: from outgoing PMT distance to recloser 1, zone 2: from recloser 1 to recloser 2, and zone 3 from recloser 2 to the end of the network. The coordination on the relay in the outgoing PMT, recloser 1 and recloser 2 has been coordinated depending on the location of the fault point. The results of the settings from the calculations in Sayung GI for the SYG10 feeder short circuit current 3 phase OCR PMT outgoing TMS = 0.4945, Recloser 1 TMS = 0.2664, Recloser 2 TMS = 0.099. At 1 phase short circuit current to ground outgoing GFR TMS = 0.4945, Recloser 1 TMS = 0.2786, Recloser 2 TMS = 0.1146
