Abstract :
More and more days the number of vehicles in Indonesia is increasing over time. Vehicles become a necessity in carrying out daily activities as a means of transportation. The more the number of vehicles, the more the rate of vehicle theft. This causes concern to the owner of the vehicle against the vehicle owned. One of the efforts to prevent this, can be done by installing an alarm on the vehicle, so that in the event of theft, the alarm will automatically sound. However, this is less effective when the thief already knows the position of the alarm. Therefore, a prototype was developed that creates a sense of security for the owner of the vehicle. This prototype uses LoRa and Arduino to send the location of the vehicle and the temperature of the car engine on the hood of the car which will later be displayed on the website so that the owner of the vehicle can know the condition of the vehicle. The test results carried out have been running well by looking at two parameters, namely the distance of delivery and PDR (Packet Data Ratio). At a distance of 2560 with a height of 40 meters obtained an average RSSI value of -94.72 dbm and PDR (Packet Data Ratio) of 96.61%
