Abstract :
The level of reliability in delivering electrical energy to customers is priority. A reliable electric power system is needed to ensure the continuity of electricity supply to consumers. So we need a fast method in generating reliability index values. This research uses quantitative research methods with descriptive statistical analysis techniques, aiming to calculate the reliability index of SAIDI and SAIFI 20kV distribution system at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Cempaka Putih in 2019 with the help of the Matlab R2019b software. The GUI in Matlab Software is the one that is widely used in describing information and commands, and its use is expected by designing its own form and format according to the needs of the system itself. So that with this software it is hoped that it will make it easier to calculate the SAIDI and SAIFI reliability index value. Data will be analyzed based on total customer outages, duration of outages, and number of customers served per month. The results obtained are the SAIDI and SAIFI value levels and the graphs obtained to evaluate the reliability value from year to year to make it easier to analyze and improve the reliability of the electric power system network at PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Cempaka Putih.
