Abstract :
With the increasingly poor quality of Citarum River, PT. Indonesia Power UP Saguling action by the turn of tube in several parts in order to avoid loss of material and corrosion on components, especially Oil Cooler be cooling on and Lower Thrust Bearing. Substitution at Oil Cooler tube material is expected to provide a longer service life than before. In addition, the change also affects the tube material to the performance of Oil Cooler in conducting heat transfer. Therefore, here the author tries to calculate and analyze the effect of the change Materials Oil Cooler Tube Heat is used to transfer the Saguling. In terms LMTD Oil Cooler 4A (CuNi) and 4B (Stainless Steel) by (10.97 and 12.39 ) and the Overall Heat Transfer at (459.72 W/m ^ 2 ^ C and 416.95 W/m 2 C). and also from thermal conductivity value unit 4A (CuNi) and 4B (Stainless Steel) at (40 and 15W/m W/m ). So actually Oil Cooler unit 4A (CuNi) is still better to do than the heat transfer unit 4B Oil Cooler (Stainless Steel).
