Abstract :
The distribution system is one of the systems in the electric power system that has an important role because it deals directly with the users of electrical energy. Generally, the quality power distribution in terms of the quality of voltage received by consumers. Some solutions are used to overcome voltage drop, including addition of a new feeder, inserting a transformer, changing type or size of conductor, installing a capacitor and increasing the source voltage. This final project discusses the problem of voltage drop that will be reconfigured in orde to get a minimum average drop voltage. The plant that is used in this final project is IEEE 33 bus 12,6kV. The working principle of the trial error method itself is to select a new loop sequence using the attached tie switch, reconfiguration using this method has been shown to reduce the average voltage drop that occurs on several buses. With this reconfiguration, the voltage drop that occurs on several buses, especially bus 18, has a voltage drop of up to 91.31% to 94.75% with an average drop voltage of 96.52%, which means the average voltage drop. each feeder is ableto send electricity to consumers properly.
