Abstract :
Electricity is a very important and useful need in any field. The rapidity of the era of kezaman then the need for lsitrik is increasing with the rapid development of technology. To minimize outages and improve reliability, saidi and SAIFI methods will be used. For the process of addressing the potential can be done by looking for the cause of potential interference and calculating the reliability index value to reduce the outages that occur. by using the reliability formula of PT PLN (Persero) ULP Simpang Tiga Pekanbaru obtained saidi index value is 574,132 hours / year and SAIFI 255,938 times / year according to the regulation spln 59 : 1985 saidi ? 3.3312 hours/year and SAIFI ? 1,199 times/year can be said to be un reliable due to many outages and disruptions that must be fixed.
