Abstract :
The technology that must be maintained in the future is environmentally friendly technology, one of which is PLTS. PLTS is a power generation system that converts solar energy into electrical energy through photovoltaic modules which are included in green energy, making it a renewable generator. This study discusses the design of using PLTS in Tabbaja Village using technical and economic analysis methods. This PLTS system is designed to supply electricity needs to help with daily activities. The design requires 45 LEN 260 wp monocrystalline solar panels, 1 MPPT 80 600 Conext Solar Charge Controller with a capacity of 4.8 kW, 1 Shneider Conext XW + 5548 Inverter with a capacity of 5.5 kW, 1 combiner box and 52 units of KOJI JM12-200 Ah Battery. The initial investment cost for this PLTS system is IDR 696,346,801. The analysis of the feasibility of investing in the PLTS system shows an NPV value of IDR 3,666,698.09, an IRR value of 12.3%, and a BCR value of 1.0053. From the NPV, IRR, and BCR values show positive values, the investment for this PLTS system project is feasible to be realized. The payback period occurs in the 8th year within the project life of 25 years.
