Abstract :
Power Gas and Steam (Power Plant) is a power plant that utilizes GT compressor to suck the air out of the system PLTGU. GT compressor is a machine that serves to compress or increase the pressure of the fluid (air and gas) from one place to another. In a gas turbine, compressor used to compress air from the outside compressor then exits the compressor and used as air for combustion diruang fuel which is mixed with fuel (fuel gas or liquid fuel) in which the air of combustion is utilized to drive a gas turbine which has is coupled to a generator to produce electricity as needed.This thesis describes the Effect of Pressure and Air Temperature Outside the Work and 3.1 GT Compressor Efficiency UP Priok power plant. GT compressor greatly affect the efficiency of gas turbines which work and GT compressor efficiency depends on the outside temperature and the GT compressor inlet air pressure outside compressor inlet GT. For the work and efficiency of the compressor GT can be better then was used filter air before it enters the compressor. Therefore the thesis about the influence of pressure and outside temperature to the work and efficiency of the compressor GT aims to find out how big a comparison between the work and efficiency of the compressor GT during the morning, noon and night.
