Abstract :
The waste power plant (PLTSa) development is a renewable energy solution which could help to reduce dependency on fossil energy. Therefore it is essential to developt other alternative energy sources such as waste which is used as a solution to suppress the use of fossil fuels. A Feasibility Study on Planning for a 750kw Waste Power Plant (Pltsa) In Tanjung Selamat Village, Aceh Besar City, it required 4 units of Trillion Gasifier (TG180) and 2 units of caterpillar G3215 generator with 750 kW output. PLTSa using waste pellet fuel is far more efficient and feasible to construct because the investment of Rp. 13,585,285,900 using an electricity selling price of Rp. 1,500, - per kWh and 12% per year bank?s interest generating NPV 8,722,830,785, -, IRR 19, 847 %%, BCR 1,642 and PBP 3 years and 8 months. The use of garbage pellets as fuel for PLTSa in the Downdraft classification is very feasible to build in Tanjung Selamat.
