Abstract :
Along with the economic growth and population, so this raises an increased demand for loads and it is necessary to connect a new medium voltage network line. The medium voltage network is the downstream part of an electric power system network with a voltage value of 20kV. The planning and installation phase of a medium voltage distribution network begins with a field survey to obtain data that will later be used in determining the loading transformer capacity, the type of conductor, the type of pole to be used, the Medium Voltage Air Line line. In this research, the object of the research is JRBM Gold Mining with a load of 1930 which is obtained from a large water pump with a power capacity of 160 number 4, the total power is 640, Crusher (stone breaker) with a power capacity of 220 with a total of 3, the total power is 660, Conveyors with a power capacity of 30 with a total of 6, the total power is 180, Small water pump with a capacity of 55 with a total of 6 then the total power is 330 , Lighting with a capacity of 120 with a total of 1, the total power is 120, and the installed power demand is 2075VA. After getting the data needed in the field, the next stage is installation that refers to the planning design that has been made including the construction of a transformer installation at an inner substation or wall substation, planting poles, selecting a carrier. Based on the results of data processing, the amount of transformer capacity used is 3000kVA, inner substations or wall substations, AAAC-S carriers, 150mm2 with a KHA of 3.152A, 12m steel poles and 9m steel poles with 200daN mechanical load strength. In this study only includes the planning and construction of the Medium Voltage Distribution network starting from the Distribution Substation to the Medium Voltage Air Line.
