Abstract :
This research raises the topic of "Analysis of the effect of overhaul on the efficiency of the gas turbine block 4 units 1 PLTGU Muara Tawar" Analysis of the efficiency of the Gas Turbine is an effort to improve the performance of the Steam Gas Power Plant (PLTGU). This study aims to determine the effect of overhaul on the efficiency of gas turbines. So the efficiency calculation method is used based on the input and output of the gas turbine components. The effect of minor insception overhaul on a gas turbine can be seen from the compressor efficiency, combustion chamber efficiency, turbine efficiency, thermal efficiency and heat rate, the results of the calculation after the overhaul have increased, namely thermal efficiency has increased by 0.6%, compressor efficiency has increased by 0 , 62% of the combustion chamber efficiency increased 0.14%, the turbine efficiency increased by 0.06% and decreased the heat rate by 216.61Kj / Kwh
