Abstract :
The reliability of a component greatly affects the efficiency that will be produced. The more reliable a component, the greater its efficiency. This study aims to determine the reliability of a component so that these components can be used in the long term. The methods that can be used in this research are energy analysis and exergy. This energy analysis is used to find the efficiency of a component. Meanwhile, exergy analysis is used to determine the quality of the component energy efficiency. One of the components that need to be considered for reliability is the High Pressure Heater and the Low Pressure Heater. By analyzing the exergy and calculating the exergy destruction of a component, the quality of its efficiency can be seen. The results of the study prove that at a load of 307 MW LPH 8 experienced the highest increase in energy efficiency, namely 7% and the decrease occurred in LPH 7, namely 2%. this occurs due to several factors such as friction, phase changes or heat transfer. This exergy destruction can be used as a reference for maintaining the power plant components so that the overall efficiency does not decrease.
