Abstract :
This research raises a subject of ?Analysis of the Temperature and Mass of Gas/Air Intake on Energy Efficiency and HRSG Exergy at PLTGU Blok 1 Muara Karang". Energy Efficiency and Exergy Analysis is an approach to improve the performance of a power plant, especially in Combined Cycle Gas Turbine power plant (PLTGU). Generally, energy efficiency and exergy refer to the law of Thermodynamics, which combine the first and the second law of thermodynamics to improve the performance on power generation system. The first law states an energy efficiency, whereas the second law explains exergy efficiency. In PLTGU, there is a decrease in the energy quality system. Therefore, to identify the factors that cause the decrease of energy quality, an exergy efficiency analysis is conducted by observing the thermal systems in the power plant which are affected by enthalpy, entropy of pressure and temperature. In this study, the HRSG energy and exergy analysis system was accomplished by comparing the difference or variation in the HRSG intake temperature, the results show a directly proportional outcome to the variation of the HRSG intake temperature with the energy efficiency and exergy values. In the temperature variations entered HRSG 547.85 ?C, 545.45 C, 543.45 C respectively resulting in energy efficiency of 74,68%, 73,30%, 72,45% and exergy efficiency of 43,51%, 41,73%, 40,87%.
