Abstract :
ENERGY AND EXERGY ANALYSIS OF PLTG BLOCK 1.1 AND 1.3 IN
DIFFERENT LOAD CONDITIONS IN PT. PJB UP MUARA KARANG. The energy efficiency will be greater than the exergy efficiency because the exergy efficiency also calculates the exergy destruction value of each component. The purpose of this research is to analyze the exergy and energy in PLTG Block 1.1 and Block 1.3 Muara Karang along with energy destruction at load variations of 80 MW, 90 MW, 99 MW, and 105 MW. The
results of this study show that the greatest destruction of the exergy value is in the combustion chamber component and the smallest experiencing destruction is the compressor component. The value of exergy and energy for each load variation will increase. At loads of 80 MW, 90 MW, 99 MW, and
105 MW the energy efficiency values at PLTG 1.3 are 30,188%, 30,973%, 31,769%, and 31,928%, at PLTG 1.1 are 29,049%, 29,885%, 30,206%, 31,182%, while the exergy efficiency values in PLTG 1.3 were 27,065%, 27,769%, 28,481%, 28,626%, and in PLTG 1.1 were 26,042%, 27,793%, 27,085%, 27,960%.
