Abstract :
This study aims to carry out the application of PLTMH, and to find out how much potential that can be used from the river flow in Babakan Banten Village, Bogor west java. The benefits of this study can increase the electrification ratio in Indonesia and advance Babakan Banten village to become an energy independent village, using PLTMH which will be the main study in this research. Descriptive research methods with data collection techniques and also through interviews conducted to determine the potential that exists in the river flow. The research location is in Babakan Banten village, Bogor regency, West Java, at the foot of Mount Gede Pangrango. The results of the study are a power capacity of 5.8 kW and a generator speed of 944 Rpm which can be generated to meet the electricity needs in Babakan Banten village.
