Abstract :
RELIABILITY ANALYSIS OF CONVEYOR COMPONENTS BASED ON FAILURE RATE IN PLTU Banten 1 x 660 MW PT. LESTARI BANTEN ENERGY. Conveyor System is one of the main components in a power plant system that functions as a coal carrier from one conveyor to another. Conveyors are widely used in the industry for the transportation of goods which are very numerous and sustainable. Conveyor belts have achieved a dominant position in transporting materials due to their advantages such as economic and operational safety, reliability, versatility and unlimited practical capacities. The reliability of the conveyor is of course very influential on the performance of the conveyor. The purpose of this study is to analyze the reliability of the conveyor at PLTU Banten 1 x 660 MW PT. Lestari Banten Energi. In this research to determine the reliability of the conveyor the author uses the reliability calculation method using the Weibull Distribution method. By analyzing the Weibull Distribution method, it can be seen how much reliability is generated, and the resulting failure rate. Analysis of the reliability of this conveyor component can be used as a maintenance reference on the conveyor system.
