Abstract :
In this research, FeSeTe Superconductor will be phased in by making superconductor wire. FeSeTe superconductors are superconductors that were only discovered in 2008. However, there are some problems in the synthesis process, so there are many studies on the synthesis of FeSe superconductors. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of diameter variations and gradual sintering, so that it can be used as a candidate for iron-based superconductors. The stoichiometric composition used was Fe1Se0.5Te0.5 1: 0.5: 0.5 snowed 2 times for 12 hours and 5 hours at 7000 C and at each Fe1Se0.5Te0.5 samples taken each Diameter = 5.0mm , 4.0mm and 3.0mm. to determine the maximum diameter .. The raw material used contains purity of Fe (99.0%), Se (99.0%) and Te (99.9%). The process in making this FeSeTe Monofilament superconductor wire goes through 3 processes namely closing the tube using the powder in tube (PIT) method, heating the wire (FURNANCE) and reducing the cross-section diameter (ROLLING & DRAWING) after that characterization test (CRYOGENIC) and analyzing SEM (SCANING ELECTRON MICROSCOPY) ), XRD (X-RAY DIFFRACTION). Monofilament wire uses SS316 pipes with a diameter of 6.0mm and a length of 16cm. In this research for Tc Onset for wire D = 3mm the wire is still a conductor before the phonomene is transformed into a semi conductor, even at a diameter of 3mm the wire lasts long enough in the conductor phase to a temperature of 62.5 K.
