Abstract :
Steam Power Plant PT. PJB O&M Rembang PLTU Rembang is one of the plants in Indonesia with a capacity of 2x315 MW and has 2 units. The Rembang PLTU operates from 1994. The Rembang PLTU uses a Turbine Feed Pump Boiler, where the Turbine Feed Pump Boiler is one of the supporting components found in the PLTU Rembang which functions to control and supply water at a certain amount coming from the feed water tank through the steam drum to the boiler with a certain pressure. This study aims to determine the performance of the Turbine Feed Pump Boiler before and after overhaul and determine the change in the total head value that occurs on the efficiency of the Turbine Feed Pump Turbine unit 2 Rembang Power Plant, then the input and output method of parts of the Boiler Feed Pump Turbine are used. find out the performance of Turbine Feed Pump Boilers by calculating speed, head suction & head discharge, total head, fluid flow rate, and efficiency of Turbine Feed Pump Boilers. therefore the author tries to calculate and analyze the performance of the Turbine Feed Pump Boiler before and after overhaul. comparison of the value of the Boiler Feed Pump Turbine 1 discharge head tends to increase by 3085,202 m to 3166,049 m and in the comparison of the value of the discharge with the head on Boiler Feed Pump Turbine 2 the tendency to increase by 3062,597 m to 3135,532 m. Head reduction caused by leakage in the pipe, the need for inadequate lubricants and mechanical seals have leaks, and there is the possibility of low turbine work. Comparison of debit value with efficiency in Boiler Feed Pump Turbine 1 tends to increase by 62.92% to 69.45% and in Boiler Feed Pump Turbine 2 tends to increase by 62.29 to 70.49%. It can be concluded that the effect of discharge affects the performance of the Boiler Feed Pump Turbine to decrease.
