Abstract :
Reliability on a component is very influential on the efficiency that will be generated. The more reliable a component, the greater the efficiency. This study aims to determine the reliability of a component so that the component can be used in a long and long term. The method used in this research is energy analysis and exergy. This method is used to analyze the efficiency of a component while the exergy analysis is used to determine the energy efficiency of a component. This research is to find out the reliability of Steam Turbines. By using energy and exergy analysis and calculating the exergy destruction of a component, it can be seen the efficiency of its components. This destruction of exergy can be used as a reference for maintenance of components in the plant so as not to cause a decrease in efficiency. The ratio of efficiency values in each turbine is 77,88%, 83,02%, 86,60%, 85,22%, 81,53%. IP Turbin 81,65%, 87,76%, 77,71%, 88,93%, 83,63%, 83,96%. LP Turbin 74,18%, 78,12%, 73,94% 77,35%, 78,18%, 76,42%. In this case it can be concluded that the influence of overhaul affects the performance of the seam turbine.
