Abstract :
The current capacity of the airport cannot yet offset the number of passengers so that the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is constructing a new runway for air transportation. But in the implementation of projects experiencing delays, Delays cause new problems in the project. Among other costs swelling. To overcome project delays one of the solutions used is to add overtime hours. In this study, the working hours added were 4 hours, to find out the efficiency and cost of using the Crashing method. Crashing method is one of the methods used to shorten the duration of the activities of a project where the activities that can be done Crashing are activities that are on the critical path and this research critical activities are obtained by using the Microsoft project program. the efficiency obtained for 4 hours overtime work is 450 days (6,93% time efficiency) at a cost of Rp 485,526,501,887 and the acceleration of the project duration is 33 days.
