Abstract :
Tambak Lorok Steam Powered Power Plant consists of 3 Generators unit with total capacity of 300 MW, Unit 3 has the capacity of 200 MW. According to design Condensor of Unit 3 Tambak Lorok Steam Powered Power Plant have the designed vaccum pressure of 696 mmHg, thoughacording to its operation data there is a decrease of vaccum pressure of 6 mmHg. There is no further study of its effect to turbine performance and cycle eficiency for Tambak Lorok Steam Powered Power Plant Unit 3. Therefore in this research the effect of vaccum pressure of condensor to low pressure turbine performance, Condensate pump and ycle efficiency of Tambak Lorok Steam Powered Power Plant using cycle tempo release 5 to simulate heat balance will be analyzed. The result of vaccum condensor decrease in average around 1 mmHg is a decrease of 0.008% cycle effciency and 0.042% decrease of Power Plant efficiency as the effect of 6 mmHg vaccum pressure decrease. Moreover the decrease of 1 mmHg of vaccum pressure in condensor will result in the loss of 2 kJ/kg in low pressure turbine andcan loss of Rp. 229.414.110
