Abstract :
The dam is a water building that serves as a water catcher from a flow in the
WATERSHED area and can accommodate water in the rainy season in large quantities. Dams has a wide range of functions including functions as supporting for hydroelectric power. The Batutegi dam has greater potential to produce
electrical energy but the electrical energy in the battery dam does not run optimally. The writing of this thesis was made to know the electrical energy in the dam that could be improved. To perform the potential for hydrological control of
the power PLANT, there is a need for water advance elevation, Tail race elevation, inflow discharge, and outflow discharge whose calculation is done using Microsoft Excel to know the total energy results. Then followed by a graphical depiction and comparison diagram. This dam is a rock fill (Urugan) type
with a waterproof soil core with a central turbine elevation + 168.50 m with a 2- unit Francis turbine type with a 2 x 14 MW installed energy power. So, the Batutegi dam can still be upgraded with an initial energy of 28 MW, 31 MW, 34
MW, up to 37 MW from the final energy increase limit while inflow of the initial energy of 28 MW, 31 MW, 34 MW, 37 MW, 40 MW and can still be continuously improved. Its energy generates a total Outflow of 109484.47 MwH, 109513.27
MwH, 109542.07 MwH, 109571.82 MwH, 105930.65 MwH and total energy inflow of 127358.17 MwH, 130560.93 MwH, 133388.07 MwH, 135111.62 MwH, 136539.88 MwH. With a percentage difference of 13%, 19%, 22%, 39%, 29%.
Furthermore, it is also known for 28 MW Energy to have a discharge of 21.195 m3 /s with a probability of 86%.
