Abstract :
Sedimentation is the process of deposition of material in the form of soil or fractional stone. In the dam, the sedimentation will gradually cause a problem. If the sedimentation not handled properly, it will affect the reservoir capacity and the
age of the reservoir. To take into account the sedimentation occurs, the sedimentation rate is calculated to determine the sedimentation that occurs in the dam. Location of research conducted in Jatigede located in Sumedang, West Java.
For the sedimentation rate calculation is used two methods namely using the Analytic method and software HEC-RAS. On the analytical method used the calculations using Yang method, Ackers-White method and the Engelund-Hansen method. From the calculations that have been done, the results obtained average sedimentation rate by analytical methods and software HEC-RAS on the Yang method 2,965,780.85 tons/year with a plan age 92 years, Ackers-White 4,929,654.52 tons/year with a plan age 56 years and Englund Hansen 9,134,087.09 tons/year with a plan age 30 years
