Abstract :
The use and selection of the foundation is something that needs
attention because the foundation will carry the loads that will work on it. Therefore, in building design it is very important to analyze the use of the foundation including the supporting soil stresses to ensure that building failure will not occur. This research was made to analyzing the carrying capacity and
total reduction of the KSLL foundation on multi-storey buildings in Banda Aceh. For structural modeling using the SAP2000 application to obtain the maximum load acting on the foundation. Based on the analysis carried out, the bearing
capacity of the KSLL foundation (qksll) is 3,302,2650 KN / m2, the maximum soil stress (qmax) is 357.1523 KN / m2, the soil stress caused by the building load (?P) is 11,982 KN / m2, The effective soil stress (Po) is 4,980.1 KN / m2 and the total decrease that occurs is 0.43 cm.
