Abstract :
Bitung ? Curug road is a road in Banten Province, the existence of this road is very important as the main road that connects the two sub-districts namely Bitung and Curug Districts on land transportation routes. At this time there is some damage contained in the road section, for this reason a study must be carried out to evaluate the pavement conditions that are suitable for the level and type of damage. Research on road sections using the Asphalt Institute road assessment method and PCI (Pavement Condition Index). The Bitung-Curug road segment is divided into 3 segments to facilitate research. In segment 1 a PCI value of 26 (bad) is obtained, for segment 2 a PCI value of 55 (moderate) is obtained, and in segment 3 a PCI value of 25 (bad) is obtained so that the average PCI value for each road segment is 35, 33 (bad). Therefore maintenance must be carried out on the Bitung-Curug road section, among others, by carrying out road repairs through the method of the Asphalt Institute MS-17, namely resurfacing, surface filling. Based on the research, it is found that the condition of the Bitung-Curug road segment is in bad condition and repair activities must be carried out on the road section
