Abstract :
The load imbalance in an electric power distribution system occurs due to an imbalance in single phase loads on low voltage network customers. The consequence of the load imbalance is the emergence of a current in the neutral transformer. Current flowing in the transformer neutral causes losses (losses), i.e. losses due to neutral currents in the neutral conductor transformer. This research method is carried out by direct measurement to the field by using Hioki which is carried out outside the peak load time and peak load time, then some calculations will be made with a predetermined formula to determine the load imbalance against neutral currents and losses in the transformat. Based on calculations, measurements are made in 2 stages, namely stage 1 with No. The ABE-385 substation at 10.17 CET obtained a percentage of load imbalance of 26, at 10:59 CET the percentage of load imbalance obtained was 9%, and at 18.54 CET of 31% in addition to ABE-116 / ABE-116 insertions. Measurements made at No. ABE- 116 substation, BTN Skyline municipal location at the trash bin at 11.05 East Indonesia Time was presented with a load imbalance of 9%, 13.31 East Time of 1.66%, and at 19.04 East Time the percentage of underweight was 6.66%. Stage 2 is measured at the location of BTN Skyline municipal trash No. ABE-116 substation (Main) at 10.58 East Indonesian Time obtained a percentage of load imbalance of 34.66%, and at 13.21 East Indonesia time obtained a percentage of load imbalance of 17.33%. Measurements made at No. ABE-116 substation (Department 1) BTN Skyline Location Kotaraja Trash at 10.58 CET obtained percentage of load imbalance by 50.66%, and at 13.21 CET obtained percentage of load imbalance by 38%, also obtained percentage loss of ABE-385 substation distribution transformer on the phase-1 load balancing before balancing at 10:17 WIT the value (IN) of 45 A losses was 1.02 kW / 1.2%, after the balance at 10:59 WIT the value (IN) of 24 A losses of 0.29 kW / 0.34%. Whereas in the ABE-116 substation distribution transformer losses before load balancing at 11:05 WIT the value (IN) of 33 A losses was 0.54 kW / 0.31%, after balancing the load at 13:31 value (IN) 25 A losses are 0.31 kW / 0.18%. percentage of ABE-116 substation distribution transformer losses in the main department at stage-2 load balancing before balancing at 10:58 CET (IN) of 138 A x losses of 9.61 kW / 5.65% after balancing at 13:21 the value (IN) of 118 A losses was 7.03 kW / 4.13%. While in the transformer losses of the ABE-116 substation distribution department-1 before balancing the load at 10:58 the value (IN) of 55 A losses of 1.52 kW / 0.89%, after balancing the load at 13:21 CEST (IN) of 45 A losses of 1.02 kW / 0.6%.
