Abstract :
Transformer is an electrical device that functions to deliver high voltage to low voltage or vice versa based on the principle of electromagnetic induction without changing its frequency. There are main components that need special attention on the transformer, namely bushings. Bushing is a means of connecting between the windings with the outside network. Bushing consists of a conductor covered by an insulator. The isolator functions as a barrier between the bushing conductor and the main tank transformer body. To find out the transformer bushings conditions can be determined through dielectric testing. Tests that are often carried out on bushings are tan delta tests where the aim of this test is to find out the condition of isolation, namely the condition of isolation at C1 (insulation between conductors and center tap) which describes the condition of paper bushings insulation, C2 (isolation between center tap and ground) which describes conditions Bushing oil isolation and hot collar testing were carried out to determine the condition of ceramics. The replacement of the T-phase primary side power transformer bushing in GI Cikupa, Cikupa ULTG because when the tan delta bushing was tested, the dissipation factor value is 2,25% where according to IEC 60137 ? DF tan ?, the tangent delta value for the tipe Oil Ipmregnated Paper (OIP) is <0,7%. In other words, Bushing insulation is declared not good so it needs to be replaced to avoid failure in operation. After changing the bushing, the delta tangent value is obtained where the value of the dissipation factor is 0.29% which indicates that the main insulation condition of the bushing is stated in good condition and can be operated again.
