Abstract :
The distribution of electric power cannot be separated from the reliability and stability of the system used to meet the energy needs of the increasing number of consumers each year. The thing that must be paid more attention to distribution substations, both internal and external, especially in a very important component, namely the distribution transformer, for this reason distribution transformers should be endeavored so that their use is in accordance with the estimated age of the manufacturer, which is 20 years. In this study, the calculation of the load and winding temperature on the shrinkage of the transformer, the results show that at the JS 143P substation, the peak load is 97.99%, the estimated age of the transformer is suitable for use for the next 8 years to 2028, at the PD 54P substation the peak load is 104.2%. used for another 6.42 years, to be precise until the middle of 2026, and at the PD 27 substation, the peak load is 111.69%, the estimated age of the transformer is suitable for use in 3.22 years until before mid-2023.
