Abstract :
CCP (Circulating Current Protection) is one of the protection devices at the substation. At CCP there is a differential relay that has an important role in determining the protection zone of the electrical energy distribution system at the substation. To optimize the performance of the differential relay at the CCP, it is necessary to know the differential setting current at the CCP and percent slope selection. In this final project, a study was conducted on the use of CCP on the SKTT (high voltage cable channel). In this study a comparison was made of the percent slope selection values and the differential relay setting values at the CCP during field clearing and theoretical calculations. From the comparison results it is known that percent slope1 data is 28% and 30% filtering, slope2 is 57% and 80% filtering and Iset is 0.188 A, while setting 0.2A.The things that makes different because in this case do not consider the calculation at OCR filtering value, and inrush current.
