Abstract :
The need for electrical energy increases along with the increasing of industrial and residential areas which are synonymous with the expansion of the electricity network. In an electricity distribution, it is impossible for the electric power system to be free from disturbances that cause the electricity must go out, for example there is interference on the line, replacement of components, and the most common is maintenance at distribution substations. The maintenance system or also known as substation revision which is done by turning off distribution substations causes customers blackouts during maintenance work. This is a concern because consumers experience blackouts which will have an impact on kWh sales, an increase in ENS, and a larger SAIDI number. Therefore, to minimize blackouts to costumers, the manager applies a maintenance system with a minimal outages method by using coper. Research using quantitative methods. In the calculation of the ENS comparison when maintenance was done without minimal outages and with the minimal outages method by using coper, kWh that was not saved from maintenance without minimal outages was 10,187,127 kWh, while the kWh that was not saved with the minimal outage method by using coper was 2,901.3795 kwh. This proves that the application of maintenance with a minimal outage method by using coper can save 7,285.7475 kWh which is obtained from calculating the difference in ENS losses between maintenance work without minimal outages with the minimal outage method by using coper and IDR 10,690,231.6 for the saved rupiah, while the SAIDI value is smaller when implementing a maintenance system with a minimal outage method by using coper. And for the time of outage that was saved during the implementation of maintenance with the minimal outage method by using coper, it was around 62.79% to 74.54%.
