Abstract :
Distribution system is one of the systems that transmits electrical energy directly connected to pt consumers. PLN (Persero). In order to maintain the quality of service PT. PLN to customers is required to install protection components on distribution systems such as CT Ring and CBO. So in this final project titled "Analysis of INSTALLATION OF CT Ring at SUBSTATION KG441 in PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Tj. Priok" uses quantitative methods by processing the results of data collection to discuss the saturation of CT, after and before the CT Ring is installed. Suspected saturated CT at 60/5 A 5P10 was shown to be saturated. Based on the calculation results state Vs > Vknee. It is 34,417 Volts, and the Vknee is 33 Volts. So it does not meet ct needs. The built-in CT Ring 800/5 A 5P20 can cope with saturation. Based on the calculation results state Vknee > Vs, so that CT meets the requirements. But the precision of the relay is not selective, and the relay does not work accurately. The flow setting of the relay around the nominal srus TD with ratio ((57.7/800)x5 = 0.360 A only meets about 7%. The current relay will have more accuracy when supplied around the nominal current of CT 5 A. The result of this function before and after the installation of this CT Ring is that the ct ring attached can overcome ct saturation. But the precision is not selective, and OCR is also supplied with low current which results in inaccurate work.
