Abstract :
PLN provides Measuring and Limiting Devices (APP) as a transaction tool in the form of kWh meters which are divided into 2 types namely analog and digital. The development of a more sophisticated kWh Meter is AMR (Automatic Meter
Reading) which helps the process of collecting data through a centralized meter logging application that uses a modem for its data transmission communication process, but currently AMR is only available for customers with three-phase kWh meters which are generally a industrial customers and not yet available for single phase kWh meter customers. Thus, for small customers the phase 1 kWh Meter cannot monitor energy usage remotely. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an online one-phase prepaid kWh Meter usage monitoring system, so that
customers can monitor energy usage wherever and whenever during the availability of the internet on design tools. By using Arduino Uno Microcontroller, NodeMCU Esp8266 and PZEM-004T sensor as hardware design and Blynk as monitoring application. Obtained results of testing the deviation of measurement of the designed tool were 2,343% and 1,78%. The results of testing the reading of measurement data using Blynk amounted to 0% to 0,012%, so that the development of a monitoring system using single phase kWh meters is the
