Abstract :
Hotspot is a condition in which the trransmission network system equipment in both the SUTT (High voltage air line) and SUTET (extra high voltage air line) experience heat that is concentrated at one point due to the large current flow passing through an equipment. Anomalies that cause hotspot that often occur are due to loose clamps, excessive load capacity, dirty/rust and differences in density, so it needs to be followed up as soon as possible, for this reason, routine measurements are required as early detection of hotspot anomalies by means of in service measurement/inpection level 2 with a quarterly period (6 months / per semester) when the equipment is in a load condition. To determine the occurrence of a hotspot, it is necessary to measure the temperature with the thermovision method, where the instrument used is the G96 satiric thermo imager. The results of the measurement of the diference between the temperature of the clamp and the conductor were taken as many as 12 samples and it was known that 11 were in good condiition and 1 was in a repair plan condition, namely in the R conductor 2 direction phase of Pasar Kemis Baru where the hotspot anomaly at this point was due to the clamp being loose, dirty, corrosing/rush, until it reaches a temperature of 42,5?C with a maximum current at thermo of 670 ampere and a current at thermo of 520 ampere and repairs must be made immediately. In this final project research the author uses quantitative methods, because the data used in this study are in the form of members, starting from data collection, processing or calculating data to the results that can also be in the form of numbers
