Abstract :
This research aims to determine the loss of power and falling voltage on the low voltage network in Tanjung Raya 2/Raya 18 at Substation SN485 as well as how to configure JTR at Substation SN485 tersebt. Power loss and falling voltage on the power system, especially on the distribution network, is
not avoidable, but can be minimized in certain ways. The first step in this study is a literature study related to power loss and falling voltage. The second is to take direct measurements of the field that is at Substation SN485. The third is to
calculate power loss and voltage fall and configure JTR at Substation SN485 to minimize power loss and voltage fall. From the results of the study, the average voltage fall at Substation SN 485 was 19.08 V 8.1%. Power loss at Substation SN485 amounted to 8408.48 Watts or 12.3%. Measurement at Substation SN 485 was conducted at 19.32 WIB. Efforts to minimize power loss and loss by adding transformer inserts or by balancing transformer loads so that the power and voltage channeled to consumers are effective and efficient and compliant.
