Abstract :
In improving the reliability of the use of the medium voltage cable line system (SKTM) in the distribution of electricity, periodic maintenance is required. This study aims to determine the condition of the cable against maintenance recommendations by conducting an assessment using the Oscillating Wave Test System (OWTS) method. Tests carried out at PT. Haleyora Power on Bibi TD 216-CN 14 and CN 14-TD 216 feeders. The results showed 2 comparative data and showed that the cable status against the emergence of Partial
Discharge. The PDIV value before repair is 8 kV at L1 and 11.5 kV at L2 and L3and the PDEV value is 8.1 kV per phase, it can be interpreted that the PDIV & PDEV value of the PDlevel value is very bad with point 6. Then after improving the PDIV & PDEV values along with the discharge Pdlevel the load was not
obtained due to the effect of the new jointing which improved the condition of the cable and eliminated the location of the Partial Discharge. It can be concluded that the risk of cable failure in the segment TD 216-CN 14 and CN 14-TD 216 is good. The follow-up is that within 3 years, this segment needs to
be retested to determine the risk conditions for cable failure
