Abstract :
Voltage drop is one of the problems that occurs in the electricity distribution line due to the length of a feeder at medium voltage. If the voltage drop exceeds the standard limit, it can cause harm to both the community and the PLN. In this final project, it is to improve the stress drop that occurs in the Panimbang feeder by breaking the load. The Panimbang feeder is a feeder from GI menes whose channel length from GH Tarogong to HSM Substation is 167.94 kms. The result of the calculation of the voltage drop before breaking the load is at the end of the 14.5 kV network and the voltage drop is 6.3 kV or the percentage is 30%. And then the Panimbang feeders are broken down load by pulling new grids. After breaking the load, the tip voltage at the Panimbang feeder from GH Tarogong to the PGB substation becomes 19 kV and the voltage drop is 1.8 kV or the percentage is 8.6%. And in the new network, namely the New Panimbang feeder from GH Tarogong to the HSM substation, the tip voltage is 19.1 kV and the voltage drop is 1.7 kV or the percentage is 8.2%.
