Abstract :
In the distribution system in Jakarta, almost entirely ground cables are used for the medium voltage system. The use of ground cables for distribution systems can increase aesthetic value, but it raises problems, namely interference from internal and external factors. Therefore, it is necessary to do
cable testing to determine the condition of the ground cable. Partial discharge testing in this study uses the Oschillating wave test system (OWTS), OWTS here will fire the DAC (Damped Alternating Current) voltage, then the Partial Discharge will be read on the computer. The SKTM that was tested at the PP76
substation to Pondok Indah GI contained Partial Discharge in phase 2 at a length of 4249 m, the detected partial discharge was still in a good enough status according to PLN policy standards and needed to be re-detected within the next 24 months.
