Abstract :
In the Low Voltage Network of the GD CTO Substation, the voltage drop is 12% or 48 V, where the voltage drop is the amount of voltage lost on a conductor. If the voltage drop is not in accordance with the standard, it can worsen the quality of the service voltage and cause power losses. To solve this problem, a simulation of the repair of the electric power network conductor is carried out as a basis before repairing the voltage drop. And the method used is uprating the conductor section, which changes the size of the conductor section to a larger size. And the simulation is done using ETAP (Electric Transient and Analysis Program) 12.6 and manual calculations. From the simulation results and manual calculations on the low-voltage network of GD CTO distribution substations, the service voltage and voltage drop in direction 2, it is necessary to uprating the conductor at least to 50 mm2, where the voltage drop drops to 9.04% or 36.16 V in the ETAP simulation. 12.6 and becomes 9.1% or 36.5 V on manual calculations. So that according to the voltage variation standard (SPLN No.1 of 1995), which is + 5% and - 10%.
