Abstract :
Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) is an equipment in a combined cycle power plant that utilizes exhaust gas from a gas turbine to heat a tube tube inside the HRSG to produce
a dry vapor capable of rotating steam turbines located on a Steam Turbine Generator (STG). The HRSG efficiency comparison analysis was conducted in 2011 with 2017 on gas turbine loads of 50%, 75%, and 94% so that the value changes can be known. The research methods used in this study include interview method, literature study, and direct and indirect observation, which is indirect observation using daily data of operation of the plant recorded on computer control at Central Control Room (CCR) and Operational Planning
and Control Rendal Ops) PLTGU Block 2 UP Muara Karang. From the calculation of calorific value of water and steam (Qh) and value of exhaust gas heat (Qg) and differential
temperature change (?T LMTD) obtained efficiency of HRSG in 2011 is 42.52%, 46.16%, 46.85% while in 2017 that is 42.28%, 45.76%, 46.73% in the state of 50%, 75%, and 94% of load on gas turbine.
