Abstract :
Increasing the quality of electrical energy can be done by reducing the shrinkage. To avoid blackouts when there is maintenance, an alternative method is to use the network maneuver and coupled cubicle. Computer programs that can help analyze the magnitude of the power loss and voltage drop values can use a program, namely the ETAP program. The research was conducted by comparing the simulation results in the ETAP program and using the calculation with the formula that was carried out when the network was in normal condition, overflow occurred, and applied coupled cubicle. Based on the data obtained, the magnitude of the power loss and voltage drop occurs when there is a network overflow, which is due to the length of the channel due to overflow from other feeders. The largest percentage of the comparison of manual calculation results and simulation program ETAP 12.6 at power loss of 1.6% and voltage drop of 300%
