Abstract :
The development of a building design is something that is in line with the development of technology and socio-economic culture of the people who occupy it. Indirectly, technological developments in designing a building or building can not be separated from the need for lighting. Light is the flow of particles or electromagnetic waves emitted by a light source and at the same time is an important element that can determine whether a person can carry out a work activity or an activity, especially those carried out indoors. But on the contrary if the light is excessive, it can bring undesired effects due to the glare caused. So the size of light needed, depends on the type of activity or work in a room. In the design of the Khoiru Ummat High School classrooms, 4 lamps with 1360lm were used as lights for the classroom
