Abstract :
In this final project research, the author discusses the testing and selection of current transformers (CT) for special customers at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Cengkareng. Testing of current transformers (CT) is carried out using a test
instrument called a CT Analyzer. Tests conducted on CT with an accuracy class of 0.2s aim to determine whether the CT condition is still suitable for use or not. So, after testing, you can select a CT according to the contract power required
by the customer. Current Transformers (CT) for measurement must have high accuracy in the current area of the nominal load measurement and must be saturated at large fault currents. The more saturated and thorough the CT, the better and safer to use. Conversely, current transformers (CT) for protection must
have small accuracy / error in the short circuit fault current region and do not saturate quickly. The less saturated the CT is on the protection side, the higher the reliability of the protection device
