Abstract :
The transformer is one of the vital objects in the transmission line system. So it is very important to treat the equipment from interference. transformer life itself can be reduced due to several factors, one of which is loading. In practice the power transformer at the substation may experience more load considering or as a result of load shifting maneuvers in the distribution system. In addition, the growth of electricity in the current era is increasing, causing a decrease in the life of the equipment due to greater loading. The purpose of this study is to predict the age of the transformer due to the effect of increasing loading each year. Therefore, in this final project, the age loss and the effect of overloading on the age of the transformer will be calculated by using the direct interview method with SPV har GI PLN Karet, then followed by data collection and calculation of predictions of the age of the transformer in order to get more accurate prediction results
