Abstract :
Transformer mutation is a transformer replacement activity in an effort to prevent interference due to overload. The importance of measuring the load of the transformer during inspections or when maintenance is carried out to determine the load of the transformer has exceeded 80% of the capacity of the transformer. If the load exceeds 80% of the capacity of the transformer, the transformer is said to be overloaded and must be replaced. This transformer replacement is commonly called a transformer mutation. This transformer mutation is carried out in order to prevent interference due to overload (Overload). The percentage of transformer loading before mutation is 99% exceeding 80% of the capacity of the transformer (Overload) and the percentage of loading per phase is the R phase (86%), the S phase (86%) and the T phase (86%). The percentage of transformer loading after mutase is 63% with loading per phase, namely the R phase (54%), the S phase (54%) and the T phase (54%).
